University Of Western Cape International Students, UWC has an extensive network of partnerships with universities in other countries, and welcomes exchange students from them. The University of the Western Cape enjoys having students from all over the globe. Annually, international students from about 65 countries study here, gaining vital educational experience in an institution close to the pulse of post-apartheid South Africa.

 
Other students are attracted by the international reputation of the programmes which interest them. Additionally, UWC is increasingly becoming a regional crossroads, with growing numbers of students from other countries in southern Africa and from the African continent as a whole.
