TUT Fashion Design, at the Department of Fashion Design and Technology, we endeavour to craft an environment where Fashion students are empowered and can advance to their full potential through the use of their creative talent. Our Fashion students are creative and pioneering thinkers that are fashion forward contributors to the industry with strong community awareness. Once they qualify, students excel as entrepreneurs and fashion highfliers in diverse career choices ranging from styling, costume design, textile, merchandising, buying, and other exciting careers.
Our Department aims to train Fashion students to be versatile, career-orientated entrepreneurs who can successfully fill their place in the highly competitive and challenging world of the clothing design industry.
