In the tabs below (starting with “Tuition Fees”), please note that international students have to consider Tuition fees, the International Registration Fee, International Tuition Fee and Service fees to calculate their total fees, whilst South African students only consider Tuition Fees. Academic fees for international students consist of four components:
- Tuition fees as payable by South African students;
- International Registration Fee (IRF) payable annually by all non-South African students;
- International Tuition Fee, an additional fixed amount charged annually at registration for the duration of an academic programme;
- Service fees for academic related services and consumable items (also payable by South Africa students, but International Students pay for these in advance).
You can either pay at the university cashiers (credit card payment is possible) once you are in Stellenbosch, or you can transfer the money from your home country.
